why wont this work?

I have asked this before but never a clear answer. Why cant I do an ls/vtec with the jrsc that i already on the ls motor. The regular ls intake manifold will fit right up tp the b16 head why wont the jrsc manifold do the same thing. I would appreciate any help. really want to go ls/vtec. thanks

Well, thats where you are wrong; the LS intake manifold is different than any of the manifolds for any of the B series VTEC engines. All but 2 of the mounting holes are in the same locations and the water/coolant port is in a slightly different location.
